UBS Users Conference, A Smashing Success!

Poquoson, VA - October 19, 2007 - The 2007 Unity Business Systems/Laserfiche Fall Users Conference was another smashing success, our best yet - in large part and thanks to you, the customers who attended! We sincerely hope you came away with some valuable information and that you also had a nice stay at the Wintergreen Resort and Spa.
The weather on Wednesday was beautiful - and everyone who participated in either the golf or winery tour activities was able to truly appreciate the gorgeous surroundings of the mountains. Even as the sun set on our outdoor evening reception, a fun time was still had by all!
This year we were in the newly renovated Pryor’s Porch – and it was a full house! Thursday’s sessions were well attended and a lot of useful information - including training and updates - was provided in all of the classes. The UBS Team is currently working on uploading all pertinent information from the different sessions (Records Management, Esker, GIS, etc.) to our website, which you will be able to access in the very near future.
A special thank you to: Stephen Hall from Laserfiche, Brent Lehmann from Fujitsu, Jody Trochlell and Chris Denz from Esker, and Steve Rapier from AnyDoc Software for speaking, and also Steve Venier from Cranel Imaging for attending our conference. Also, congratulations again to all who won prizes (ranging from a Coach purse and wallet to gift cards from Chick-fil-A and Target) on Thursday morning!
If you stayed for Friday's Laserfiche Institute, some great training was provided in two separate classes: Admin and User. Thank you to the four Laserfiche engineers who took the red eye from California to Virginia to teach these educational and valuable classes. Each student was set-up with their own individual laptop (running Laserfiche) - and a training manual was given to everyone to bring back to the office. Also, the lunch provided in the Coppermine Restaurant between classes on Friday was delicious! This was the second year in a row that UBS has offered the training, and we truly feel it is a great opportunity and benefit to our customers using Laserfiche.
In the end, conference attendees went home full of knowledge (and food!) and ready to tackle their jobs with new and useful information. This conference was our biggest and most successful one to date - so thank you again to all those who help Unity Business Systems remain the success story of the 21st century by allowing us to make technology useful!
