Unity Business Systems Welcomes Another New Employee!

Poquoson, VA - July 31, 2008 - Unity Business Systems is pleased to announce the addition of another new employee to the team: John D. Harbaugh. He joins UBS as a Systems Consultant for the Sales and Marketing Department.
John is the newest member of the Sales team, focusing on developing new vertical markets for the company such as financial services and legal. For more than twenty years, John provided corporate finance consulting and capital raising services to small public and private corporate clients in the areas of financial services, healthcare and high technology; since 1996, through his company True North Capital Corp.
From 1997-2002, John co-founded a firm offering document imaging software products and services sold directly or through Xerox to the CIA, Justice Department, Navy, US Attorney offices, and 30 of the top 100 law firms in North America.
From 1987-1996, John was the Senior Investment Banker at H.J. Meyers & Company. While there, he managed to complete more than 50 IPO and Secondary Public Offerings, and multiple Private Placement Offerings, mergers and acquisitions on behalf of US and Israeli companies. Companies he managed through the IPO process include: Arel Communications, Ltd. (ARLC- Israel), Excel Technologies, Inc. (XLTC), MRV Communications, Inc. (MRVC), M-Systems Flash Disk Pioneers (FLSH - Israel), and Palomar Medical Technologies, Inc. (PMTI).
John holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Houghton College and post-graduate work at the University of Buffalo, and has held NASD Series 7, 63 and 24 licenses. He is married to Claudia and has two daughters, Courtney and Megan. John served for eight years as a member of the President's Advisory Board of Houghton College and also has served on the boards of Artisan Church, Browncroft Community Church and Greater Rochester Youth for Christ.
