Christine B. Ilardi, January 2007
Newport News, VA - January 26, 2007 - Reams Document Imaging has recently been selected to provide a Records Management and Document Imaging solution for Hanover County, Virginia. The first department to benefit from the system will be the Commissioner of Revenue office.
The COR office will see tremendous benefits from the Laserfiche solution, very quickly. An innovative solution has been designed to scan and capture various types of documents, such as Personal Property Tax and Business Licenses.
The solution, designed by Reams, will utilize barcode technology and integrate with the county's current BRIGHT database system to facilitate the capture and indexing of these files.
"We are excited about our new relationship with Reams Document Imaging,” said Commissioner of Revenue Scott Harris. “We look forward to improving our records management process and hope the system efficiencies will allow us to provide better service delivery to our customers.”
"I look forward to working with Hanover County. Together, we will be able to leverage Reams' vast experience working with localities - specifically other Commissioner of Revenue offices - to provide a solution yielding great benefits almost immediately," said Brian Sabin, Reams' Vice President of Operations.
