The Challenge
Their problem is simple: the Human Resources (HR) Department needs a solution to save space. Over the years, all of the archival paperwork associated with hiring and providing services to employees continues to grow – quickly filling up filing cabinets. Storing additional paperwork or searching for certain information has become tedious and time-consuming.
The Solution
Unity Business Systems has implemented a custom Laserfiche solution, where staffers are using Laserfiche software and a Fujitsu 3093 scanner which enables them to begin scanning inactive employee records into a unified, secure repository. The search features of the solution, including the look-up mode, are particularly useful in day-to-day activities. Some other highlights include:
