Information on the "Home Delivered Meals" Program from the PAA:
There are four pick-up points on the Peninsula for the program, Meals on Wheels, sponsored by the Peninsula Agency on Aging (PAA).
Hampton, VA: Ivy Memorial Baptist Church (on the corner of Marcella Road and Coliseum Drive)
Newport News, VA: New Grafton Baptist Church (4401 Chestnut Avenue)
Newport News, VA: Warwick United Church of Christ (10 Matoaka Drive, just across Jefferson Avenue from Casey Chevrolet)
Newport News, VA: Encore Catering (The Mulberry Inn, just off of Ft. Eustis Boulevard)
"Meals on Wheels" delivers a noon-day meal Monday through Friday. All of the meals are typically ready for pick-up between 11:00 and 11:15 AM. It takes about one hour to deliver a route. A regular driver (or group) takes the same route one day a week.
